What We Do

Registered Care

The support we provide focuses on building people’s confidence and skills so they are able to live as independently as possible.

For some people, due to the complexity of the support they need, we provide registered care home support.

Our registered services are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and you can find reports on all of our registered services here. The CQC regularly assess all registered services against five key questions:

  • are they safe?
  • are they effective?
  • are they caring?
  • are they responsive to people’s needs?
  • are they well-led?

Everyone is individual and many people have different, creative ways of communicating without using speech. Our Specialist Support Team work closely with people, support teams and families to really understand what matters to them, developing communication techniques and support that meets their needs and expectations.

We have a proactive approach to supporting people to maintain their physical and emotional health and well being based on our Treat Me Right! work.

Ultimately, the support we provide isn’t defined by the status of the home people live in, it is based on our belief that everyone has skills, strengths and something to offer. By focusing on this, we can support people to live a good life and achieve the things they really want. People we support are at the heart of their local communities and we work with local groups and organisations so they can build positive relationships and be contributing members to society.
