It’s that time of year again when we celebrate those individuals and teams who have stood out from the crowd in the past year!
Our annual Michael Rosen Awards are our opportunity to celebrate exceptional and inspiring work, and how our colleagues live our values. We welcome nominations from families of people we support, so if any individuals or teams have gone the extra mile supporting your family member or you, please let us know by nominating them.
There are five categories, and each nominee will also be considered by the judges for the annual Michael Rosen Award – the ultimate accolade!
The five categories are:
- Colleague Award
Celebrating an individual who inspires those around them through their approach and actions, their dedication and their commitment to delivering outstanding support or services. They live our values – for example through the way they communicate and build relationships, and the outstanding way they perform their role.ng support or services. - Team Award
Celebrates a team who embody our value of working together, both within the team and/or with the wider organisation and/or communities. This team demonstrates our values through delivering exceptional support or services, bringing in creative ideas, and having an open approach to trying new things, positive risk taking and supporting each other through more challenging times. - Inspiring Leader Award
Celebrates an individual who lives our values by bringing out the best in people, championing innovation and collaboration and delivering real change to support or services provided. This could be a staff member, volunteer, person supported by Certitude or a family member. - Transforming Lives Award
Impacting the life of one person or of many people, the Transforming Lives Award recognises the outstanding commitment of an individual or team to changing the lives of people we support through innovation, embracing change, collaboration, problem solving, nurturing resilience, positive risk taking, building community partnerships, a commitment to equality and going beyond day to day support requirements. - Volunteer Award
Celebrates an individual fundraiser, volunteer or group whose dedicated commitment has made a significant difference.
How to nominate
Submit your nominations here for the person or team you feel has performed outstandingly during the last year in any of the five award categories.
Nominations will close on Friday 15 October and the winners will be announced at the awards event on Wednesday 15 December.
