Jump Rope January

Certitude’s Jump Rope January is a sponsored skipping event which will take place throughout the month of January. You may undertake this challenge in a manner which is suitable for you. The event is an ‘online only’ individual event where registrants take part in their own time at a location of their own choosing. The event is free to enter. All UK residents are eligible to enter. Young persons under 18 years of age may take part in the Event provided they are registered by their parent or carer. There is a fundraising target of £25. You may wish to donate this yourself or ask your connections for sponsorship. You need to register with a UK address for a skipping rope will be sent to you. You must only use lawful means to fundraise for Certitude and will not bring the charity’s names into disrepute. You understand and will make clear to those who support your fundraising that any money you send into Certitude be treated as a donation and used for Certitude’s work for people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health support needs. If you do not complete the activity you agree to contact all your donors to advise them and will arrange for them to be reimbursed if they choose. There may be potential risks connected with exercise and physical activity. If you have any medical conditions, please seek medical advice before proceeding with this fundraiser. You should understand that when participating in fitness challenges, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain, or shortness of breath at any time while exercising you should stop immediately. If you engage in Jumprope January you accept that you are taking part at your own risk and that Certitude shall not be liable for any accident, illness, injury, loss or damage incurred as a result of your own voluntary participation. Swim in February

Swim in Feb is a sponsored swimming event which will take place throughout the month of February. You may undertake this challenge in a manner which is suitable for you and can choose from 25m, 50m or 100m depending on your level of fitness. The event is an ‘online only’ event where registrants take part in their own time at a location of their own choosing. The event is free to enter. All UK residents are eligible to enter. Young persons under 18 years of age may take part in the Event provided they are registered by their parent or carer. There is a fundraising target of £25. You may wish to donate this yourself or ask your connections for sponsorship. You need to register with a UK address for a branded drawstring bag to be sent to you. You must only use lawful means to fundraise for Certitude and will not bring the charity’s names into disrepute. You understand and will make clear to those who support your fundraising that any money you send into Certitude be treated as a donation and used for Certitude’s work for people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health support needs. M25 March is a sponsored walking/running/jogging event which will take place throughout the month of March. You may undertake this challenge in a manner which is suitable for you. The event is an ‘online only’ event where registrants take part in their own time at a location of their own choosing. The event is free to enter. All UK residents are eligible to enter. Young persons under 18 years of age may take part in the Event provided they are registered by their parent or carer. There is a fundraising target of £25. You may wish to donate this yourself or ask your connections for sponsorship. You need to register with a UK address for a branded water bottle to be sent to you. You must only use lawful means to fundraise for Certitude and will not bring the charity’s names into disrepute. You understand and will make clear to those who support your fundraising that any money you send into Certitude be treated as a donation and used for Certitude’s work for people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health support needs. If you do not complete the activity you agree to contact all your donors to advise them and will arrange for them to be reimbursed if they choose. There may be potential risks connected with exercise and physical activity. This challenge expects you to complete 188km (246,656 steps) in a month. Please be mindful of this. Art April

Art April is a sponsored drawing event which will take place throughout the month of April. You may undertake this challenge in a manner which is suitable for you. The event is an ‘online only’ event where registrants take part in their own time at a location of their own choosing. The event is free to enter. All UK residents are eligible to enter. Young persons under 18 years of age may take part in the Event provided they are registered by their parent or carer. There is a fundraising target of £25. You may wish to donate this yourself or ask your connections for sponsorship. You need to register with a UK address for an art pack with a workbook, pens and a tote bag to be sent to you. You must only use lawful means to fundraise for Certitude and will not bring the charity’s names into disrepute. You understand and will make clear to those who support your fundraising that any money you send into Certitude be treated as a donation and used for Certitude’s work for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health support needs. Certitude may have a picture wall where you can upload your artwork. Please be polite and mindful when posting. Certitude has a zero-tolerance policy on inappropriate photo uploads, comments, cyber bullying or hate crime. Mental Health May

Mental Health May is a sponsored event which will take place throughout the month of May where you will be without your phone for a period of 24 hours. You may undertake this challenge in a manner which is suitable for you. You must seek permission from your employer if this is going to be your work mobile phone. The event is an ‘online only’ event where registrants take part in their own time at a location of their own choosing. The event is free to enter. All UK residents are eligible to enter. Young persons under 18 years of age may take part in the Event provided they are registered by their parent or carer. There is a fundraising target of £15. You may wish to donate this yourself or ask your connections for sponsorship. You need to register with a UK address for a branded stress ball to be sent to you. You must only use lawful means to fundraise for Certitude and will not bring the charity’s names into disrepute. You understand and will make clear to those who support your fundraising that any money you send into Certitude be treated as a donation and used for Certitude’s work for people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health support needs. Certitude cannot accept responsibility for any incidences that may occur because of you not having your phone on for 24 hours e.g., missed emails, important telephone calls. We recommend letting family members and friends know you will be partaking in the challenge, so they are not concerned for your welfare. You should stop the challenge altogether or resume at a different time if you need to use your phone for any circumstances you feel are emergencies. Sign in June

Sign in June is a sponsored Makaton event which will take place throughout the month of June where you will be learning a new sign every day. Your video will be emailed to you upon signup. You may undertake this challenge in a manner which is suitable for you. The event is an ‘online only’ event where registrants take part in their own time at a location of their own choosing. The event is free to enter. All UK residents are eligible to enter. Young persons under 18 years of age may take part in the Event provided they are registered by their parent or carer. There is a fundraising target of £15. You may wish to donate this yourself or ask your connections for sponsorship. You need to register with a UK address for a branded wristband and badge to be sent to you. You must only use lawful means to fundraise for Certitude and will not bring the charity’s names into disrepute. July- 346 Thames Challenge

Our 346 Thames Challenge is a sponsored walking/jogging/running event which will take place throughout the month of July. You may undertake this challenge in a manner which is suitable for you. If you wish to participate as a group, this is allowed but needs to be arranged by you personally. The event is an ‘online only’ virtual event where registrants take part in their own time at a location of their own choosing. The event is free to enter. All UK residents are eligible to enter. Young persons under 18 years of age may take part in the Event provided they are registered by their parent or carer. There is a fundraising target of £25. You may wish to donate this yourself or ask your connections for sponsorship. You need to register with a UK address for a branded water bottle to be sent to you. You must only use lawful means to fundraise for Certitude and will not bring the charity’s names into disrepute. London is calling is a mass participation photo event taking place throughout the month of August. You may undertake this challenge in a manner which is suitable for you. The event is an ‘online only’ event where registrants take part in their own time at a location of their own choosing. The event is free to enter. All UK residents are eligible to enter. Young persons under 18 years of age may take part in the Event provided they are registered by their parent or carer. There is a fundraising target of £5. You may wish to donate this yourself or ask your connections for sponsorship. You must only use lawful means to fundraise for Certitude and will not bring the charity’s names into disrepute. Certitude’s Alternative Christmas calendar

Certitudes Alternative Christmas calendar is an event which will take place throughout the month of December. You may undertake this challenge in a manner which is suitable for you. This fundraiser requires no physical activity. You will be posted out the moneybox to the address supplied by you when you registered. We will use your postal details for the purpose of the mail out only. The event is free to enter. All UK residents are eligible to enter. Young persons under 16 years of age may take part in the Event provided they have permission by their parent or carer. There is a fundraising target of £24. You may wish to donate this yourself or ask your connections for sponsorship. You must only use lawful means to fundraise for Certitude and will not bring the charity’s names into disrepute. Certitude’s 12 Challenges of Christmas

Certitudes 12 challenges of Christmas is an event which will take place throughout the month of December. You may undertake this challenge in a manner which is suitable for you. The event is ‘online only’ meaning you are free to complete the challenges at a location, time and date suitable for you and in whichever order you wish. This fundraiser requires some physical activity such as ‘Move for 12 minutes’. There may be potential risks connected with exercise and physical activity. If you have any medical conditions, please seek medical advice before proceeding with this fundraiser. You should understand that when participating in fitness challenges, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain, or shortness of breath at any time while exercising you should stop immediately. The fundraiser also included challenges related to food- such as ‘Eat 12 mince pies’ – please ensure the items you consume do not irritate any allergies you may have or are likely to make you ill in any other way. The ‘Polar Plunge’ challenge also involves immersion in cold water, Once again please check you are physically able to participate with a medical profession if you have any underlying health risks.
