Certitude's 12 Miles of Christmas Fundraiser

The  Certitude ’12 miles of Christmas’ fundraiser  is a sponsored virtual walking, jogging or running event to take place from 1st December to 25th December.

You may undertake this challenge in a manner which is suitable for you.

The event is an ‘online only’ event where registrants take part in their own time at a location of their own choosing.

If you wish to participate as a group, this is allowed but needs to be arranged by you personally.

The event is free to enter. All UK residents are eligible to enter. Young persons under 18 years of age may take part in the Event provided they are registered by their parent or carer. No data will be stored for under 18’s.

There is a fundraising sponsorship target of £150 but where participants raise £25 and over and register with a UK address, they will be sent a Certitude branded beanie hat.  You must add your UK postal address on sign up to be able to receive your beanie.

You will only use lawful means to fundraise for Certitude and will not bring the charity’s names into disrepute. You understand and will make clear to those who support your fundraising that any money you send into Certitude be treated as a donation and used for Certitude’s work for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health support needs.

There may be potential risks connected with exercise and physical activity. If you have any medical conditions, please seek medical advice before proceeding with this fundraiser. You should understand that when participating in fitness challenges, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain or shortness of breath at any time while exercising you should stop immediately.

If you engage in 12 Miles of Christmas for Certitude, you accept that you are taking part at your own risk and that Certitude shall not be liable for any accident, illness, injury, loss or damage incurred as a result of your own voluntary participation.

You may wish to arrange your own insurance. This will not be provided by Certitude.

Certitude reserves the right to amend, remove or add any terms and conditions at any time.
