To ensure we find the most enthusiastic, creative and compassionate support staff, our recruitment team are constantly innovating. Over the last year and a half, we have formed valuable partnerships with The Prince’s Trust, Shaw Trust and BEAM.

Employability is central to the purpose of Shaw Trust and their values are in line with Certitude’s approach. In the last year, Shaw Trust has become a trusted and valuable associate providing us with excellent candidates who we have employed as both Support Workers and Life Enablers.
This youth charity helps young people aged 11 to 30 get into jobs, education and training and we have found its online career events a brilliant opportunity to meet bright young people. This targeted approach is proving very effective, and we anticipate placing many more roles this way.
Beam is a social enterprise which helps homeless people find homes, education and jobs. When we met with the team in 2020, we were impressed with the way they support people to get into a workplace, even if they have an unconventional ‘living history’. We are proud to be a featured partner on the BEAM website and delighted to have offered seven people employment through this pathway.
